Cancellation Policy
(To be attached as Annex to §7 Consumer Right of Cancellation)
Status: November 2025
This Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to Consumers, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
A “Consumer” is defined as any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.
1. Right of Cancellation
1. Consumers have the right to cancel the contract within seven (7) calendar days or five (5) business days from the day on which the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer (other than the carrier), has taken possession of the goods.
2. For clarity, “business days” refer to the Supplier’s business days in South Korea, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays officially designated by the Government of the Republic of Korea.
3. To exercise the right of cancellation, the Consumer must submit a clear written statement by e-mail to:
info@yulimkorea.co.kr
Use of the sample cancellation form provided is optional.
2. Consequences of Cancellation
1. When a cancellation is exercised, the Supplier will reimburse all payments received from the Consumer, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date the Supplier is informed of the cancellation.
• Additional delivery costs resulting from the Consumer selecting a more expensive delivery option are excluded.
2. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method originally used, unless expressly agreed otherwise. The Consumer will not incur any fees for the refund.
3. The Supplier may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods are received, or until the Consumer provides proof of dispatch, whichever occurs first.
4. The Consumer must return the goods within fourteen (14) days from the date on which the cancellation notice was submitted.
• The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the fourteen-day period expires.
5. The Consumer bears the direct cost of return shipping.
6. The Consumer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect their condition, properties, or functionality.
3. Exclusions from the Right of Cancellation
The right of cancellation does not apply to the following:
1. Goods made to order, produced according to the Consumer’s individual specifications, or clearly personalized.
2. Goods that deteriorate rapidly or for which the expiration date may be quickly exceeded.
3. Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene protection, if the seal was removed after delivery.
4. Goods whose price was fixed at the time of contract conclusion but delivered after 30 days, where the market value is subject to fluctuations outside the Supplier’s control.
4. EU and Country-Specific Differences
For Consumers located in jurisdictions with longer statutory cancellation periods (e.g., 14 days in EU Member States), the locally applicable period shall prevail.
However, production-initiated or customized orders remain excluded from cancellation regardless of jurisdiction.
